Orders will be shipped from our warehouse in Umhlanga, Durban, South Africa.
We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays (Weekends) or Public holidays. Due to the quick processing times, we may NOT be able to cancel or modify an order after it has been submitted.

Courier Service Providers:
The customer is responsible for ensuring the delivery address is correct.
The customer must make sure that there will be someone at the given address to receive and sign for the product during working hours.
Silk by Design (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to amend delivery charges where necessary, including for special or international delivery conditions.

Delivery charges will be calculated according to the delivery address chosen and the weight of the package.
- Additional fees for duties and import taxes may apply (purchaser’s account).
- All International and cross-border parcels will be sent via courier or forwarding agent.
- Delivery times may vary depending on the delivery address/country.
Click and Collect:
Goods collected by a customer in person or via 3rd party or courier will be deemed to be delivered to the customer upon collection from Silk by Design. Silk by Design will not be responsible for any breakages or damage to goods collected by the customer’s courier service.
Free Shipping:
We offer free shipping on all retail orders (not available to Trade account holders) over R1500 ZAR when shipped domestically within South Africa.
The customer will be notified via SMS or e-mail when the product leaves dispatch. Waybill and Tracking information can be provided on request.
Delivery Times:
All sales or subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 21 days and delivery confirmed by way of courier. A tracking number can be provided upon request once goods have been dispatched.
In-stock, On-display and Showroom Items:
Unless otherwise stated, all items that are in stock are available immediately (if shopping in our showroom) or will be delivered within 5 – 7 working days after payment is received.
Made-to-Order Items:
Our skilled florists assemble our signature arrangements once an order is placed, hence the term “made to order.” This term refers to designs that are created once an order has been placed and payment has been received. Unless otherwise stated, made-to-order items generally take 10 to 14 days for delivery.
Back Order Items:
Items listed as back order are presently out of stock but anticipated to return in future. The date of return of goods is not always certain so please enquire with a sales team member if you need further info. Prices on Back Order items are subject to change between the time of purchase and once the item comes back into stock. Should the price change you will have the option to cancel any order placed.
